The Heineman Family: Our Jamaican Honeymoon...Yah Man!

The morning after our wedding (woke up bright and early at 5 a.m) Andrew and I were on our way to Ochos Rios, Jamaica. We took a shuttle from The Brown Hotel to the airport. When we got to the airport, we found out our flight was delayed and that we would miss our connecting flight! EEK! We had to switch flights and airlines and eventually were on our way. After a long flight with a few lay-overs one of which it was 3 hours, we finally landed in Jamaica. We went to baggage claim and could not find our bags...lovely! We were told our bags were lost and if they find them they will send them to Sandals Resort where we were staying. We were not happy! Well, after a 2 hour drive to our resort, we finally made it to our final destination. YAY! But, still not happy, AT ALL, about our missing bags. How could I make it through this trip with NOTHING! Well thankfully, the next morning, there was a knock at our door and yay, my bag arrived. But where was Andrews?? His bag finally came the next day. So frustrating but now we were able to enjoy the rest of our trip.

During our stay we booked 2 excursions: full body massage and the catamaran cruise aka "booze cruise". The massage was amazing! It was so relaxing and something Andrew and I have never done before! The cruise was our favorite part of our trip. It was a catamaran cruise to Dunn's River falls where we snorkeled in the Atlantic Ocean and had a great time dancing on the boat! Dunn's River Falls is a 1,000 ft. waterfall that we hiked up. It was beautiful! During the rest of our honeymoon we relaxed on the beach, ate at several different restaurants and enjoyed our time together as husband and wife.
