Pizza Party

My mom's last night in town we had a pizza party. We all made our own pizzas! Gavin was so happy to make one all by himself.

Slides, Swings and Sand

On the Tuesday after Gavin's birthday (my mom's last day in town...sad) we started the morning off by getting donuts at the Mandeville Bake Shop across from our house then we went to Kids Konnection Playground. The playground was built by a bunch of mom's who have children with disabilities. It is a handicap accessible playground that enables all children and adults with and without special needs and their families to play.

As my mom was standing up after she went through the tunnel, she bumped her head on that pole above the tunnel. Even though she had a big knot on her head, we both were laughing hysterically. Not long after, I did the same exact thing just at a different spot.

Gavin's thinking, "Mee-Maw you don't fit, let's get off". Haha!

Gavin's 3rd Birthday Weekend

Gavin had such a wonderful birthday! I can't believe he is already 3.
At 3 years old, Gavin is:
Officially potty-trained wearing "big boy" underwear, size 3T and 4T clothes and size 9 shoes,
Sleeping 10-12 hours at night  and taking naps during the day (some days he likes to skip but stays in his bed talking and enjoying quiet time)
He is such a happy and funny child! Andrew and I are so blessed and lucky to have such a good little boy.
Andrew's parents and my mom came in town to celebrate Gavin's birthday on Sunday. The weekend was just perfect. We enjoyed every minute with them. We miss everyone so much!
We ate breakfast and went swimming on Saturday at Nonnie and Pop's hotel. Gavin had his favorite, waffles.

Gavin told us he needed to relax.

After he saw Pop's relaxing in the chair with his eyes closed, Gavin wanted to do the same. So darn cute!

On Sunday for Gavin's birthday we went to church then headed to Global Wildlife! The Global Wildlife Center in Folsom, Louisiana is a non-profit organization that is home to over 4,000 animals from all over the world! It is such a great experience for children and adults.

Later that evening we continued the celebration at our house. Katie and Addie even came in town! We grilled BBQ chicken with an amazing soma salad my mom made and macaroni and cheese. And of course, we had Gavin's Toy Story cake!

Gift from Addie, Katie and Ryan...Dinasour Train!

Opening our gift...we got him a grill with an apron and hat and doctor accessories.
